My Approach

My approach to therapy is empathic, client-centered and collaborative. I believe the heart of therapy lies in a safe and genuine therapeutic relationship and I value bringing ourselves authentically into the therapy room. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, such as psychodynamic, narrative therapy, emotion-focused, art therapy, trauma-informed, existential, and feminist therapies. I like to work holistically to understand how different areas of your life may be impacting each other, making much of my client work long-term.

I value making the therapy space safe for all folks, working through a culturally-sensitive and LGBTQ+ affirming lens.

My specialties include:

  • cult recovery/spiritual abuse

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • trauma

  • relational issues

  • identity

  • grief & loss

  • life transitions

  • low self-esteem

  • stress
